The museum is now closed for the "winter season." Even though we are closed we can still schedule your guided visit during this quiet time.Please call the Ranger station front desk at 505.281.3304 We will reopen for regular hours in May 2025. Watch this space for updates.
When we are closed for the Winter Season" you are always welcome to call the Ranger Station at 505.281.3304 to schedule a guided tour with one of our volunteers. We host frequent school groups during this time and you, too, are welcome! The interpretive trail is always open unless weather prevents passage.

The garden has now gone to seed and is preparing for winter. We successfully grew one cotton plant this year! Our pumpkins fed marauding pests; we harvested four different kinds of beans and corn grew to 8-feet tall.
